How it works Are slabs real? After I buy Shipping Refunds Vault Opener odds FAQ Support

01

How Slab Launch works

Browse or openBuy a listed slab from Marketplace, or open a slab pack from a tiered opener pool.
Pay securelyCard payments run through Stripe. Store credit can be used where available.
Get the cardMarketplace purchases can ship to you or sit in your collection. Opener pulls go to your vault first.
Manage itKeep vaulted cards, sell eligible cards back for store credit, or request shipping.

Real slabs

Are the slabs real?

Yes. Slab Launch is built around graded, authenticated slabs, not raw cards or reprints. Listings show the grader, grade, card details, and photos when available.

Admin inventory also supports PSA certification tracking so each cert can be kept unique in the database.

Order flow

What happens after I buy?

Your order is created, payment is confirmed, and the card is removed from available inventory. Guest buyers receive an order access token in the browser session; logged-in buyers can see purchases from their account.

If you choose vault delivery, the card is stored in your collection. If you choose shipping, the order moves into packing and shipment tracking can be added by staff.

Shipping policy

Shipping

Slabs are shipped protected and tracked. Shipping options and costs are shown during checkout or retrieval, and shipping labels/fees are computed server-side.

When an order ships, tracking information can be attached to the order so the buyer has the carrier and tracking number.

Refund policy

Refunds and cancellations

Unpaid or failed-payment orders can be cancelled and reserved inventory released. Paid orders can be refunded by staff when appropriate.

Returned items should only be relisted after the slab is physically back and verified. Store credit is internal site credit and is not cash-withdrawable.

Vault explanation

Your vault

The vault is your Slab Launch collection. Cards bought into the vault or pulled from an opener are held under your account until you keep them, sell eligible cards back for store credit, or request shipping.

Vault rows snapshot the card at the time you acquired it, so your history stays readable even if admin inventory details change later.

Odds explanation

Slab opener odds

Each opener tier has a live pool of available slabs. Tier pages show checklist counts, remaining chase/grail counts, and value-bucket odds before you open.

Odds describe the rarity/value bucket roll. Actual card availability depends on the remaining pool at the moment the paid open is processed.

Each completed opener stores a fairness audit with the randomness source, request ID, pool hash, commitment, roll, and pick index. The current backend uses cryptographic server randomness in a VRF-ready format; the same audit path is designed to plug into an on-chain VRF provider before public VRF claims are made.

Quick answers

Do I need an account to buy?

No for shipped marketplace checkout. You do need an account for vault delivery, slab opens, sell-back, store credit, and collection history.

Can I see my guest order later?

Guest order access uses a private token saved in the browser session after checkout. Keep your confirmation details. For long-term order history, sign in or create an account.

Can I sell a card back?

Eligible held cards can be sold back for store credit within the active sell-back window shown in your vault. The server enforces the window and credit amount.

Can I ship vaulted cards together?

Yes. The vault supports batch shipping requests, with fees calculated server-side before cards are marked for shipment.

What if a payment succeeds but something looks wrong?

Contact support with your order number and account email. Admin tools can review failed webhooks, payment-review orders, refunds, cancellations, and inventory status.

Are opener pulls guaranteed to be profitable?

No. Openers are a chase product. The odds and checklist help you understand the pool, but outcomes vary.

Questions before or after an order?

Email support with your order number, account email, and screenshots if something looks off.

Rules before checkout

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES

Plain-language rules for purchases, slab opener pulls, marketplace listings, store credit, shipping, refunds, privacy, and support.

Important Legal review required before paid launch

These pages are practical operating policies for the site. Have qualified counsel review them before enabling real paid opener mode.

Terms of Service

Using Slab Launch

Last updated: July 5, 2026

By using Slab Launch, creating an account, buying marketplace slabs, using store credit, or opening slab packs, you agree to these terms and the linked policies on this page.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to make purchases in your location. Slab Launch may refuse, cancel, or limit orders that appear fraudulent, automated, abusive, restricted, or otherwise risky.

Product nature

Marketplace slabs are specific listed items. Slab opener products are chance-based chase products with disclosed value buckets and inventory-dependent outcomes. No opener result is guaranteed to be profitable.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping account access secure. Vault features, slab opens, sell-back, store credit, and collection history require an account.

Inventory

Inventory is limited. If an item sells out, is damaged, cannot be verified, or is otherwise unavailable, Slab Launch may cancel the transaction, provide a refund, or offer an available alternative where appropriate.

Privacy Policy

What we collect and why

We collect information needed to operate the site: account details, contact information, order and shipping details, vault activity, support messages, payment status, fraud-prevention data, and basic site/device logs.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Slab Launch should not store full card numbers. Payment confirmations, intent IDs, totals, and order status may be stored for fulfillment and support.

Use and sharing

Information is used for checkout, shipping, vault access, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service improvement. We do not sell personal information as a business model. We share information with service providers needed to run payments, hosting, shipping, email, analytics, and support.

Security and retention

Access should be limited to authorized staff and systems. Records are kept as long as needed for orders, accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Refund Policy

Refunds, cancellations, and failed orders

Unpaid orders, failed payments, duplicate orders, and orders that cannot be fulfilled may be cancelled and refunded. If a payment succeeds but the item cannot be delivered, support will review the order and issue an appropriate remedy.

Marketplace slabs

Because graded slabs are unique collectibles, completed marketplace sales are generally final once packed or shipped unless the wrong item is sent, the order cannot be fulfilled, or support approves an exception.

Slab opener pulls

Completed opener pulls are generally final once the pull is assigned, because the result is generated from a disclosed pool and the card is placed into your vault. If a technical failure occurs before assignment, support will review logs and may refund, retry, or cancel.

Refund method

Cash payments are generally refunded to the original payment method. Store credit redemptions are generally returned as store credit unless support determines otherwise.

Shipping Policy

How shipping works

Shipping options, fees, and delivery choices are shown during checkout or vault retrieval. Slabs are packaged in protective materials and shipped with tracking.

Timing

Orders are normally prepared after payment confirmation and inventory verification. If a shipping delay occurs, support will notify the buyer and provide the available options.

Address accuracy

Buyers are responsible for entering a complete and deliverable address. Contact support quickly if an address needs correction before shipment.

Lost or damaged packages

If tracking shows a problem or a slab arrives damaged, contact support with the order number, tracking number, packaging photos, and item photos so the issue can be reviewed.

Store Credit Policy

Store credit is not cash

Store credit is internal Slab Launch credit. It is not cash, not a bank account, not a stored-value card, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred unless Slab Launch explicitly approves an exception in writing.

How credit is earned

Eligible vault cards may be sold back for store credit during the active sell-back window shown in your collection. Promotional credits, refunds, or support adjustments may also create credit.

Expiration

Current store credit does not expire by default. If promotional credit has a special expiration date, the promotion must disclose it before the credit is issued.

Inventory sell-outs

If an item or opener tier sells out before credit is used, credit remains on the account for other eligible purchases. Sell-outs do not convert credit into cash.

Odds / Pull Rate Disclosure

How opener odds are calculated

Each paid opener tier has a live pool of eligible slabs. Tier pages disclose the value-bucket odds, pool counts, remaining cards, and chase/grail counts before opening.

Bucket odds

Odds describe the chance of landing a value bucket such as value, upgrade, chase, or grail. The exact card depends on the eligible inventory remaining when the paid open is processed.

Changing inventory

Pool counts and odds can change as slabs are opened, sold, added, removed, damaged, or reclassified. If a pool no longer has inventory for a paid open, the transaction should be blocked, cancelled, refunded, or routed to support review.

Fairness records

Completed opener events should store an audit trail with the request ID, pool hash, randomness commitment, roll, pick index, and selected item. Do not advertise public on-chain VRF unless that provider is live and verifiable.

Marketplace Rules

Marketplace buying rules

Marketplace listings are for specific graded slabs. Each listing should show the player or character, set, year, grade, cert details when available, image, price, and availability.

One-of-one inventory behavior

Most slabs are unique units. Adding an item to cart does not guarantee ownership until checkout completes and inventory is reserved or marked sold by the server.

Listing accuracy

If listing details conflict with the physical slab or cert verification, Slab Launch may correct the listing, cancel an order, refund the buyer, or contact the buyer before shipment.

Restricted activity

No bots, payment abuse, chargeback fraud, harassment, attempted inventory manipulation, or resale behavior that violates platform rules.

Contact / Support

How to get help

Email support@slablaunch.com with your order number, account email, screenshots, tracking number, and a short description of the issue.

Support reviews

Support can review payment status, order status, inventory records, vault rows, store credit changes, refund requests, shipping issues, opener audit records, and failed webhook/payment-review states.

Response expectations

Support should prioritize paid order issues, shipping problems, account access issues, and payment/reveal failures. Keep one support thread per issue so records stay easy to follow.
